WIN has emerged on the Mauritian scene with the objective of empowering women, inspired by article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights”.

A network within itself, WIN brings together Soroptimist International Ipsae – Rose Hill, Soroptimist International - Port Louis, Junior Chamber International Mauritius, Junior Chamber International Curepipe, the Association Mauricienne des Femmes Chefs d’Entreprise and the United Nations Development Programme of Mauritius.

WIN is grateful to the United Nations Development Programme in Mauritius for all its support, not only with the setting up of the WIN Secretariat and the construction of this website but also in relation to all the projects undertaken by WIN to date.
